his combination protocol device and integration harness is designed to communicate with the new General Motors high speed LAN. The GMCSS-3A will easily integrate virtually any hands-free kit into the factory sound systems of the 2007 and 2008 General Motors trucks and SUVs with or without Onstar. The results are these great features.

      Mutes the factory radio whenever you make or receive a phone call.

      Takes the cellular phones audio and plays it through the factory sound system.

      The word “phone” or the phone symbol will appear on the radios display.

      The volume controls on the steering wheel and radio remain fully functional and control the volume of the       phone call.

      The protocol device provides you a switched lead, no more hunting under the dash.
